Hard dependencyThe downstream task cannot start before this one finishes. Moving a hard‑linked task pushes everything after it forward.

Soft dependencyAn advisory link. It's shown for context but never forces a move.

Soft conflictA soft‑linked task now overlaps its suggested predecessor — flagged, not forced.

Lock on a hard linkLocked: drag either task and its rigid partner follows exactly — push and pull. Unlocked (default): the link only pushes forward.

Click a task's name — or the board name above — to rename it. Double‑click empty canvas to add a task. Drag from the dot on either edge of a card to link it to another task, then choose hard or soft. Changes save automatically.
